The lease is signed every 2 years and new owners just bought the property. A new lease was dropped off where they are charging monthly for property tax in addition to the normal rent. Is this legal? Located in LA county California if it makes a difference. I will select a [...]

Yes it is legal. This is a type of net lease. This is where the tenant pays for property taxes etc. There are modified versions where the tenant pays for all expenses such as taxes, utililities, insurance etc.
